Sidste onsdag tog jeg til min DJ ven Hugo Capablanca’s Bananamania event i Torstrasse 95, Mitte. Jeg arrangerer Bananamania events i København, og ville selvfølgelig gerne tjekke hans Bananamania udstilling. Hugo har taget Bananamania konceptet med rundt i hele verden, bla. udstillet på ROUGE58 under sidste NY fashion week. I onsdags stod programmet på; en videoinstallation “Peel Slowly and See” med hovedrollen Tanja Siren, en t-shirt designet af MyFriendFromBerlin, et “Polaroid action” og masser af WASTED, en tysk øl. Efterfølgende var der fest på King Size bar.

Last Wednesday I went to my DJ friend Hugo Capablanca’s Bananamania event in Torstrasse 95, Mitte. I organize Bananamania events in Copenhagen and therefore wanted to see the Bananamania exhibition here in Berlin. Hugo has taken the Bananamania concept around the world, a.o.  exhibited at ROUGE58 during last NY Fashion Week. Last Wednesday the program looked like this: a video installation “Peel Slowly and See” starring Tanja Siren, a t-shirt designed by MyFriendFromBerlin, a “Polaroid action” and lots of WASTED, a German beer. Later there was an after-party at King Size bar.
