Monday I met up with beautiful Amalie Adrian at her apartment at Christianshavn. Amalie is 19 years old and a ballet dancer at The Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen. Amalies wardrobe is very inspiring and she really has some items to die for. I especially like her turban (bought in Pede & Stoffer), vintage lace blouse, Chloé boots, Agent Provocateur underwear, dotted mini skirt, grey knee socks, animal printed vintage shoes, Ann Hagen leather dress and the black and white Stine Goya dress.

Here is a little interview with the front man from Grand Avenue – in my opinion he has a cool sense of fashion and he is not afraid of whipping out his sewing machine for a bit of customizing. 

How much thought do you put into your image on and off stage?

Not enough perhaps, we wanna do more about it,  however still understatet – I want our music to speak for it self.

Where do you see yourself ten years from now?

Bigger, broader, brighter, better and a little bit bitter.

Have you got a fashion faux pas?

White socks… unless their are hold ups on a girl!

And boys never ever wear sandals….

Where do you do your shopping?

On ebay and I customize my purchases on my sewing maschine.

Haven’t bought any clothes in a store for the past two years. I rely on presents, but usually accidently throw them away on tour.

What is your favourite item?

My vintage russian army watch.

What is your next purchase?

Old redwing boots.

How does your dreamgirl dress like?

Vintage sneaks, vintage tee, vintage jeans and a little hidden tattoo, that says “vintage”. She should be so femine, that she can still wear boys clothes and look good.

Tight jeans with army boots. Trashy make-up – morning after look.

What is your fashion faux pas for girls?

Knee high white boots, wide legged press pleated slacks.  

Shoulder pads – not too big.

Not too 80´s.

Where is your favorite hangout places?

Copenhagen: Jolene bar, Blomsten, Byens Kro and Palæ bar.

Zurich: Hafenkneipe. NYC: Freemans, East village. London: it´s all a blur.
